Mid-size corporation in central Texas. I’ll start with the company Christmas party. We were “told” to clock out at 3:30p, forcing us to donate our time and attendance while the ‘boss’ delegated responsibilities in helping with games, food (we each had to bring 2 dishes or desserts) and clean up for 100+ employees…
For two days last week, I emailed my boss and invited him to stop by and see what I had created in response to his request.
On that Friday the pages were shown to a customer who didn’t like them, that was bad enough, but then my boss chimed in on the customers side.
Things like that drive me up a wall, and across the ceiling!
The office is getting pizza today for a co-worker’s birthday.
We decide on getting several pizzas, one of which will be a buffalo chicken pizza.
Stupid co-worker goes: “Buffalo Chicken??? I hope they take the bones out first”
My coworker is talking to a customer on the phone.
He turns to me and says “Hey, how far away is Seattle?”
” Its about 2.5 to 3 Hours” I say
He responds ” Miles?”
” I don’t do miles” I respond, but I know its about 225 to 275 miles away
He goes back to his customer and say’s ” Its about 2.5 to 3 Hours, so about 40 to 60 miles from us ”
